Building MRD’s own website: one engine for content, credibility, and bookings

Designed and built a fast, search-ready Laravel website with a blog, case studies, and Cal.com booking, so every page leads to one action: book a discovery call.

01 The challenge

MRD needed a home on the web that practices what it preaches. Until then, the main online presence was a personal portfolio page: good for showing a résumé, but not built to explain a three-pillar offer, show case studies, or turn interest into booked calls.

The requirements were clear: present Marketing, Revenue, and Development as one system; show experience honestly, without invented testimonials or results; make content easy to update without a developer; and keep the path to a conversation as short as possible.

02 What was built

Built the site in Laravel 12 with Blade components, plain CSS, and lightweight JavaScript, using a brand system based on the MRD logo: red for Marketing, green for Revenue, and navy for Development, used consistently from the hero to the case study filters.

Every “Book a discovery call” button opens Cal.com in a new tab, so scheduling takes one click and the site stores no visitor data. There’s no login anywhere on the site: the blog, case studies, services, FAQs, and tools live in a small database, with posts that can be scheduled for a future date.

Credibility comes from real sources: a logo marquee of companies worked with (each linking to the company), certificates with hover previews and a full-size viewer, case studies written from actual work history, and a blog of practical RevOps and marketing-ops articles.

Under the hood: SEO titles and descriptions on every page, Open Graph tags, Person, ProfessionalService, Article, and BlogPosting structured data, an automatic XML sitemap, permanent redirects for renamed pages, a branded 404 page, and GA4/GTM click tracking on every call-to-action that only loads when an ID is set. The privacy policy updates itself when analytics are switched on.

03 The result

MRD now has a production-ready website where every page leads to a discovery call, with no login or admin area to maintain or secure. The site is tested at phone and desktop sizes, and an automated test suite covers its pages, redirects, and SEO tags, so changes can be checked before they go live.
